1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReceiptClaimer (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReceiptClaimer is a receipt management and tax deduction tracking service designed for Australian property investors and landlords. The Service includes:

• Receipt upload and storage
• Automated receipt data extraction using OCR
• Multi-property expense tracking
• Mileage tracking for tax deductions
• Tax deduction summaries and reports
• Email receipt forwarding
• Free tax calculation tools

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account using Google OAuth to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3.3 Account Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all content uploaded to your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1 Free Plan

• Up to 5 receipts per month
• Access to free tax calculation tools
• Basic receipt tracking

4.2 Personal Plan

• $9 AUD/month (monthly) or $89 AUD/year ($7.42/month when paid annually)
• Unlimited receipts
• Multi-property tracking
• Email receipt forwarding
• Mileage tracking
• Priority support

4.3 Payment Terms

Payments are processed via Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

4.4 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time Pro subscribers. Contact support@receiptclaimer.com.au for refund requests within 14 days of initial purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes related to tracking receipts and tax deductions for your personal or business use.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Upload fraudulent, illegal, or falsified receipts
• Share your account with others
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or payment requirements
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Use the Service to violate any laws or regulations
• Upload malicious content (viruses, malware, etc.)
• Abuse or harass our support team

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, functionality, code, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by ReceiptClaimer and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of receipts and data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process, store, and analyze your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We store your primary data securely using AWS services in Australia and may use third-party AI providers to parse and categorize receipts.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Tax Advice Disclaimer

ReceiptClaimer is NOT a tax advisor or accountant. The Service provides tools to organize receipts and calculate potential deductions, but does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified tax professional or accountant for tax-related decisions.

8.2 OCR Accuracy

We use AI-based receipt parsing and categorization tools. While generally accurate, extracted results may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying all extracted data before using it for tax purposes.

8.3 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptClaimer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to tax penalties, lost data, or financial losses.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed according to our Privacy Policy.

9.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees.

10. Partner Program

Our Influencer Partnership Program is subject to additional terms. Partners must comply with all advertising disclosure requirements and may not make false or misleading claims about the Service.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or service notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
